What is a tamper-evident closure?

A tamper-evident closure, often also called a guarantee closure or first-opening guarantee, is a break-off plastic tab on the container.

Only when this tab is removed is it possible to pull the lid open with a finger. This allows the end consumer to recognise whether the packaging is really unopened.

Almost all of our buckets and tubs have a tamper-evident closure! Menu trays and boxes do not have a tamper-evident closure
